Chiara Bernesi

Chiara Bernesi will be joining the Green Shoots team in a new position at our school as Teacher of Design Technology and Visual Arts, commencing August 2022. Chiara has over 12 years of UK experience teaching Design Technology, Visual Arts. and Special Educational Needs. For the last 5 years Chiara has taught internationally in Ho Chi Minh City across both Early Years and Primary. Chiara earned a BA Honours in Textile Design: Printed Materials from the University of Derby. Chiara is excited to join the Green Shoots team to help launch the new STEAM lab. She is passionate about the important role design has to play in finding solutions to the big challenges we face as responsible global citizens. Whereas, Art has a unique ability to ignite curiosity, generate questions, create narrative and encourage debate. Chiara looks forward to working creatively with students across the school to explore the core values at the heart of the Green Shoots community.
