Rick joined Green Shoots International School in 2020. He has 16 years experience as an international school leader and 14 years experience teaching in Japan, China, Mongolia, Turkey and Thailand. Before the world of international education, he taught primary students in the USA. Rick earned a Masters degree in Organisational Leadership from the University of San Francisco, a Masters degree in Teaching from Wayne State University in Detroit, and an undergraduate degree in communications. His educational philosophy is founded on the principles of transparency, integrity and collaboration.
