Evergreen labs describe themselves as “a creative business lab building solutions that will change the world”. Established in 2016 and headquartered in Da Nang, Vietnam, they are a purpose-driven, creative business lab comprised of future changemakers, they focus on solving today’s social and environmental issues. Their end goal: a world where people & the environment live as one, fully circular balanced system.
GSIS is excited to be working with Evergreen labs as we fit out our brand new campus. We have met with them several times to discuss the use of recycled and upcycled materials in our refit, and are looking at a range of different Evergreen products including outdoor tiling, indoor sports flooring, and building cladding. Evergreen also makes classroom furniture from recycled and upcycled plastics and we will also consider these in due course.
This is not our first time collaborating with Evergreen. In recent years our students have been engaged in learning experiences led by Evergreen staff that has provided them with opportunities to take action in our local community. Projects stemming from the inspiration and guidance of Evergreen includes the student initiated plastics recycle drive and free-cycle programmes.
